What Causes Lower Right Abdominal Pain?
From the last year or so, I have been often getting lower right abdominal pain of a sharp nature, whenever I take a deep breath or suck in my stomach, or when I press the specific area with my hand. There is no pain as such when I cough, bend forward, run, swim etc. but I can will it to occur whenever I pull in my stomach. There is no visible swelling or hardness of the abdomen. I had an abdominal scan done last year and no physical problem was found. Endoscopy indicated GERD and Antral Erythema, but that healed after 2 months with treatment by Providac and Rabium. There was a Vitamin D deficiency for which i was given treatment. However the abdominal pain continues to occur even today whenever I breathe deeply or suck in my stomach. What might be the root cause and what further tests are suggested if any?
