What Causes Lower Right Back Pain?
![default](/r/images/default.png)
I think you should consult the Doctor now - more than a few days of pain.
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thank for your query.
To recapitulate: Female/25 - no insurance - sharp pain around the kidney area in right side - happened this Sunday - still extremely painful - made you sick at stomach - sickness has went away - but the pain has not - at what point to get concerned to see a Doctor....
Please give additional information for me to assist you further:
- Any fever and/or chills?
- Any urinary symptoms like burning, frequency?
Any intestinal complaints like bloating, constipation or loose stools, nausea/ vomiting?
- Do the movement or any other factors that increase the pain?
- Any other information that you would like to share?
The history is suggestive of the following:
- Urinary tract infection with or without any stone/s impacting the urinary outflow which in turn can cause pains as you have explained.
- Colitis: inflammation of descending colon or cecum
- Muscular due to spasm of the back muscles.
- Lymph node inflammation.
- Appendicitis
- Any disease related to the ovary, Fallopian tune on the right side.
I would advise you the following considering all the points that you have noted.
Since you are suffering since Sunday- more than a few days, the pain is persistent, it is better to consult a Doctor for clinical evaluation, examination and at least tests of blood, urine and an ultrasound of the whole abdomen to get the correct diagnosis and to get the proper management.
I hope this answers your query.
