Brief Answer:
Might need review by your treating doctor and some investigations.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX! I am Dr Shareef answering your query.

If I were your doctor, I would advise you for the following:

1) A routine stool test for ova/cyst/bacteria followed by a culture sensitivity test and treat the infection if found to be positive. A routine blood test like a CBC( specially to know your hemoglobin level due to the recent bleeding you had last week) and a blood sugar test to rule out any increase in your blood sugar level.
2) Some modification in your diet like more of roughage, enough liquids, avoidance of oily, fried, and fast food, and avoidance of alcoholic beverages and smoking if you do.
3) Regular routine exercises like morning walk depending on your medical fitness.
4) Prescription for a proton pump inhibitor and an anti spasmodic drug for symptomatic relief. Addition of a probiotic might also be useful in your case.

I do not formally consider the use of bipap machine for your gastro intestinal symptoms. This you have to continue as advised by your doctor for your apnoea problem.

Very infrequently the medicines which you use might give rise to some of the gastro intestinal symptoms as a side effect and this has to be modulated by your treating doctor if considered necessary.

In case of any more recurrent bleeding episode, you might need to get assessed by your gastro enterologist treating your diverticulosis/diverticulitis problem.

I hope this information would help you in discussing with your family physician/treating doctor in further management of your problem. Please do not hesitate to ask in case of any further doubts.

Thanks for choosing health care magic to clear doubts on your health problems. I wish you an early recovery. Dr Shareef.
