What Causes Lump Along The Penis Shaft Within The Scrotum?
Question: i have a lump along the penis shaft within the scrotum towards the left side of the shaft

Since when is this lump?
Is it causing any symptoms like pain, redness or any other problem?
Is it freely XXXXXXX or have restricted movement ?
This is most probably a sebaceous cyst as you say this is near the shaft and within scrotum.
another possibilities are a lipoma, swellings arising out of the spermatic cord.
I would advise to get this checked by a Surgeon, who on clinical/ physical examination can determine the cause and need ultrasonography to confirm the diagnosis only if in doubt.
The best treatment is only Surgical removal. This is a simple procedure and it is better to remove for a few reasons
-You get rid of the disease
-you get a perfect diagnosis as to what it is .
- You remove the potential complications it can have.
So go ahead get rid of this.
