Brief Answer:
several possible causes

Detailed Answer:
Well if this is soft, there is no pain, redness or skin ulceration above it then you should not be worried. It is not common that such big lumps appear so quickly, bit in very most cases this is just subcutaneous lipoma, fibroma or any other benign lesion. These are benign lesions which can be removed surgically under local anesthesia. Other causes such as lymph node enlargement or tumors are rare, but in every cases I suggest to do examination, ultrasound and needle aspiration if necessary. after analysis it can be removed. Wish you good health.
