beside my left nipple,no pain ,it is hard,it was accident at work ,i was hit by a steel hook at a considerable speed which swelled my chest for more than two weeks which left the lump which has been there for over one year
Brief Answer:
could be a calcified hematoma.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Following your accident the swelling that appeared was mostly hematoma (blood clot).
They usually get reabsorbed into the body, but sometimes they fail to get absorbed completely and calcification occurs in the residual clot, making it hard.
You need to show that to a surgeon for a clinical evaluation to confirm the diagnosis and if you want he can excise it for you.
