What Causes Lump Under Nipple In A 11 Year Old?

Question: My 11 year old daughter found a lump under her left nipple today and I called our doctors emergency service here and spoke to a nurse who said it is common for young girls to get these..I just need to know how to proceed and if you could tell me if it is that common? Thank you
