Question: i need advice as to the medical issue I'm having. I'm a 30 yr old female, non smoker and I have
hypertension average blood pressure 160/115. I don't know if the issues I'm having are related hence the info I'm giving you. I started getting lumps, in my lower back right above my hips, after my car accident 8 years ago. I went to two different physical therapists and a
neurologist. The therapists couldn't figure out why those spots were hurting or why my back would feel like if would lock up and the neurologist just gave me trigger point injections every so many weeks. Now 8 years later those spots are still bothering me but now it's different. those lumps have gotten bigger and when they become rather large my legs will go numb. not only that I now get lumps all over in my body as well. when I first started to get the lumps I was just getting them down in my butt, on my hips and my upperthighs. but as time has progressed I get them all over my body, my butt, hips, thighs, calves, upper back, shoulders, arms and now into my neck. when they are rather large if I were to bend over you can actually see where they are in my back and the ones that are around my extremities will make that extremity go numb. I have even noticed small lumps in my pelvic area. I'm not quite sure what its called but it starts next to the labia and goes down to that crease of the upper leg. they also seem to be mirroring each other. for example, if I get one on my left shoulder blade shortly after I have one almost in the same spot on the right shoulder blade. I have somebody rub them when they hurt and he says it feels like grinding gristle. it hurts when he rubs them but whether it's him rubbing them or time, they become smaller. they never go away though. and they are continuesly spreading and now that they are up to my neck I'm having a cause for concern. I have asked a dr. about them and he suggested that they were sebaceous cysts or
epidermis cysts. I'm not a Dr but I have had one of those removed from my neck before and they are nothing like it. the lumps that I get are always under the skin never coming to the surface or causing a discharge in any way. I just need to know if I need to be worried because it's almost like I'm in pain all of the time from these lumps. it's hard to sit, stand and lay down most of the time.
