What Causes Lung Infection After Using CPAP Machine?

Question: Good evening I have been using a CPAP machine for the pass 6 year. about 2 yrs ago I developed a cough and have been coughing up yellow mucus. My lung show fluid in the smallest tubes. I have had an upper GI done and it also showed some mucus. Can these symptoms be caused by my CPAP machine?
