What Causes Lung Pain And Joint Pains After A Fever?
Due to viral flu.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The joint pains and the lung pain that you have can be associated with such a viral illness.
Taking Tylenol double strength and a good supportive treatment will help in controlling the pains in 2-3 weeks. The recovery is slow due to the associated weakness.
Keep warm, avoid exposure to cold as this could aggravate the problem.
Eat plenty of fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables. Eat high protein diet like cereals, pulses, chicken, lean meat, eggs.
It is suggested to add calcium supplements 500mg each twice daily.
The treatment options for severe symptoms include pain killers, hot fomentation, lubricating agents like glucosamine sulfate, chondroitin , dycerin, etc and some life style modifications and physiotherapy.
I hope this answers your query.
In case you have additional questions or doubts, you can forward them to me, and I shall be glad to help you out.

If it is just a return of the flu, I am fine with laying low until it passes. Does the flu 'return'? I have never experienced that before, but if it does, I certainly overworked myself too, too soon, and am consequently a good candidate for it.
I love your natural suggestions, as I am not one to take a lot of drugs if I don't absolutely have to. (I will have to look up 'pulses'.) I tend to think I can do anything...and lifted way to much, and worked terribly hard. I'm going to stop that.
Not due to pneumonia.

Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
If you have high grade fever or the cough is worsening with difficulty in breathing then it is advisable to get a X-ray chest done to rule out pneumonia. Right now there is no need to worry.
The best treatment for impacted mucus and cough is steam inhalation. Inhaling steam from a bowl of hot (but not boiling water) may help to soften, and loosen, the buildup of mucus in your airways. You may also find that adding some menthol crystals, or eucalyptus oil, to the water helps a lot. Other than that, avoid eating indigestible, spicy, foods and meats and eat simple wholesome foods. Out-of-door exercise, sunbaths also help a lot.
Recurrence of viral infection is also seen but in your case the persistent weakness is more likely. Just taking rest will help you a lot.
Hope my answer is helpful.
