What Causes Lymph Node Swelling In The Pancreas With Elevated Liver Enzyme Levels?

I am a diabetic and if I don't eat properly That happens. He got results back and told me I had a raised lymph node on my pancreas. Radiologist suggested a follow up which I am doing this week. My doctor did not seemed very alarmed I on the other hand am upside down. Is this a common occurrence. He said that there were other lymph nodes he would be far more concerned about should they become enlarged.
If it was a cancer it would have spread a lot during these few months.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for using Healthcaremagic to post your health query.
I read carefully your question and I understand your concern.
Pancreatic cancer is a very aggressive cancer. So if it was a lymph node coming from a cancer, in few months the lymph nodes would spread a lot, and not only.
Also, there are some specific lymph nodes where that type of cancer spreads first. I don't know which lymph node station was enlarged, but I am sure your doctors knows that and that is why he is not worried.
I would say to follow it up anyways. It most probably has been enlarged because of an infection, so in that case now should be within normal sizes, or if not, at least no evidence of other enlarged lymph nodes.
Hope this is helpful.
Let me know if you need more clarifications.
