What Causes Memory Loss While On Vraylar?
Definitely No
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for using Healthcaremagic.
I read your query and understand your concerns.
I like to inform you that I do not think there is need to increase the dose of Cariprazine. My suggestion is based on the fact that Benztropine is an central anticholinergic medication and does not have effect on the actions of cariprazine. To be precise it only takes care of extrapyramidal symptoms (parkinsons) of Cariprazine and do not cause any other effect other than the side effects.
Failure to concentrate, loss of short term memory and continuous flashbacks are the simple side effects of Benztropine and best dealt by changing benztropine with some other medication from the same group. One such example is benzhexol among others. In case your doctor still finds with problem with other medications promethazine which is an antihistaminergic medication, can be used for management of parkinsonian symptoms.
I hope this helps you.
Feel free to write back to me if you have more questions.
Thanks and regards.
