What Causes Menorrhagia And Severe Abdominal Pain During Menstruation?

menorrhagia with dysmenorrhoea.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query to hcm,
This is menorrhagia with dysmenorrhoea and there could be multiple reasons for heavy bleeding like progesterone deficiency, a uterine fibroid, adenomyosis or even an endometrial polyp. So it is mandatory in your case to get an ultrasound pelvis done to rule these out anyhow and also a hormonal profile to look for progesterone deficiency.
The bleeding can however be controlled along with pain if you take TAB TRAPIC-MF ( 500/250mg) one tab thrice a day from day 2 to day 5 of your cycle when it bleeds heavy. You would be relieved and bleeding shall be controlled. But evaluation with an ultrasound would be mandatory.
If you are in XXXXXXX then you may get these medicines as an OTC else you would have to get them prescribed by your local doctor.
Regards
