Question: Dear Doctor,

We are trying for pregnancy for the past 7 months. So we consulted a doctor for the same and they told she din't have a dominant follicle in 14th day and suggested fertomid and ovacaremyco tablet. Post taking tablets for last two months doctor told she was having dominant follicle and endometrium thickness is good last time. She got period this time. Can you please tell us how to proceed? She is having too much off mood swings because of this. Do i need to take sperm test? I don't drink or smoke.

Brief Answer:
Semen analysis and HSG required

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I understand your concerns about infertility.

Following is my reply:

1) Chances of pregnancy in any cycle is around 10 percent only though everything is normal.

2) Therefore I suggest you get your semen analysis ( sperm test) done to know if there is a problem.

3) Also get Hysterosalpingogram ( HSG ) test for your wife to test for patency of fallopian tubes. This is also an important test.

4) Let me know the reports so that I can advice further.

Let me know if you need anymore help.
