Brief Answer:
PCOS

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Delayed and irregular periods, increased hair growth on the body are suggestive of polycystic ovarian disease which is due to hormonal disturbances.
It cannot be completely corrected, and the periods are regular only if you take the oral contraceptive pills regularly.
The basis for treatment of PCOS is weight loss, lifestyle changes, and insulin sensitizing drugs like metformin.
I will suggest you to consult an endocrinologist for appropriate treatment.
Hope you found the answer helpful.

Hi dear,
Polycystic ovarian disease is said to be there are two of these three conditions:

Therefore, it's not necessary that polycystic ovaries are present in every case of PCOS.

Brief Answer:
PCOS cannot be cured completely

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
Yes, it is very likely to be PCOS.
As I mentioned earlier, PCOS cannot be cured completely.
It is better to avoid taking oral contraceptives for a prolonged time as these have their own side effects.
You should concentrate on lifestyle changes and take metformin after consulting a doctor.
