What Causes Mid Back And Mid Front Pain?

Question: Can Gastroenteritis cause mid back and mid front pain? Only when I move in certain directions. How long can this last? I am also feeling out of it and have had no diarrhea for a few days (5 or so). Would a kidney stone cause your entire mid back to ache including your mid front, only when you move? I had kidney stone in the past and I do not recall this. I remember it being more localized.
Brief Answer:
Not due to kidney stone.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
Gastroenteritis and mild gastritis can cause the mid back and front pain. If the pain is associated with certain movements then it can be a muscular pain also. It can last for 1-2 weeks after the diarrhea has finished. You can do a hot compress in the area and see if it helps.
This is not likely to be due to a renal stone.
I hope this answers your query.

Gastroenteritis is not fun. So, the sluggish feeling and sensitivity in my abdomen and lower ribs is part of it? I noticed that my both my left and right side under my ribs is sensitive to the touch, especially my left side. Not fun. I guess this is really wearing me down. Any suggestions to help me get over this feeling? Or, do I have to wait it out?
Brief Answer:
Take antispasmodic.
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
Check if there is an over the counter antispasmodic available with your pharmacist. Take them after taking fluid diet, three times a day. For pain do a hot fomentation and take light easy to digest oil free food.
