Question: ihave back pain mid back that goes to my chest on my right side stays almost constant

Hi , I am Dr Gopal Goel , Orthopedic Surgeon.
In my opinion ,this pain in mid back going to right side of chest , could be due to nerve compression in dorsal spine, due to osteophytes or disc disease.
Start mild pain killers , muscle relaxants , pregabalin , and spinal extension exercises. Also get an MRI to confirm the diagnosis.

I had a bone densitity test about a month a go and it said I had osteophytes and was told to take vitimine d so do I need to get an appoitmintent with a orthopedrtic docotor

Bone densitometry will show osteopenia/osteoporosis and not osteophytes. Please check the report or better consult and orthopedic surgeon.
