What Causes Mild Abdominal Cramps And Pain After Salpingostomy?

default
Posted on Tue, 5 Jul 2016
Question: Hi, four months ago I had an ectopic pregnancy which resulted in removal of my left fallopian tube. Now, I am four weeks and three days pregnant. On and off I feel mild pain on my left side where the tube was removed. Why might be the reason for this? Ps. Tomorrow I'm going to the gynea so they'll monitor my pregnancy but I don't want to wait till then. Thanks.

Brief Answer:
Can be due to corpus luteal cyst

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Mild cramps and pain on the side on which the tube was removed can be due to corpus luteal cyst which can be present in the ovary of that side.
I suggest you to get a transvaginal ultrasound to confirm the diagnosis.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
