What Causes Mild Abdominal Pain And Inflammation Of The Vagina?

Question: Hi Doctor,

Sorry for TMI. I am having a mild pain below my lower abdomen and I feel like pubic area is inflammed a little. Is it a matter of concern?

My medical history below:
I have a hydrosalpinx left sided fallopian tube with minimal spillage detected in 2014. My right sided tube is hale and healthy till 2015. In Aug 2015, I got pregnant with an ectopic pregnancy and got treated with Methotroxate 2 dosages.

After my ectopic pregnancy, my right sided fallopian tube (which was earlier fine) also turned hydrosalpinx and is detected as blocked in HSG.

I have gone through your query and understand your concerns completely.yes it a cause of concern as persistent inflammation and possible infection will lead to progression of disease. I will advise you to take antibiotics Doxycycline bd for 14 days and Tab Metrogyl thrice a day for 7 days,these are prescription drugs . Take Meftal spas for pain relief. If you want to concieve then first you should undergo delinking procedure which delinks your tubes from uterus and then undergo IVF procedure. Regards Dr Manisha Jain.
