What Causes Mild Headache With Fever?

Question: My husband has symptoms of a low grade headache for a few days, lethargic, 98.7 temperature, very fatigued, sleeping a lot,and big red bloches on his body.

I have noted your husband's symptoms and they are suggestive of a viral syndrome, which can explain his symptoms.

You should get his complete blood counts done, mainly to exclude a low platelet count (in view of red blotches on his body).

Tylenol can be continued, as he should get better in a week's time.

Thank you Dr. XXXXXXX After a day spent in the hospital emergency; my husband underwent extensive blood work and 2 doctors diagnosis. The Infectious disease doctor confirmed he has lyme disease treatable with antibiotics 14-21 days.
