What Causes Mild Pain In Middle Of Spinal Cord?

Myself XXXX, from 2 two days i am feeling a mild pain in middle of spinal cord.
i dont have any past surgeries or any fractures.
I think it may be due to my sittiing or sleeping postures.
Can you tell me what can be the reason
Thank you
Is it related to posture?
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for being on healthcaremagic.com.
I am Dr.Ajay Panwar,a neurologist,here to answer your query.
If you would have presented to me as an outpatient,I would have asked you a few questions,in order to answer your query well-
1)Is the pain posture related?(That means does it increase on bending forwards or sitting for a long time? Please tell, what all positions increase it and what positions relieve it)?
2)Is the pain static, increased or decreased over past 2 days?
5)Any history of tingling or numbness in arms or legs?
3)Any history of fall or injury?
4)Any past medical history?
It may be musculoskeletal or related to spine, which I shall be able to tell you better, after you follow up with the above details.
Meanwhile, please take non steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs like naproxen 500 or etoricoxib 60, on sos basis(ie,only at the time of severe pain).PLEASE TAKE MEDICINES UNDER A PHYSICIAN'S GUIDANCE ONLY.
Please follow-up with details.
Regards
Dr.Ajay Panwar,

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for being in follow-up and providing answers to the specific questions.
You have to think about postural effects, indicate that no significant postural variation in pain.
Its static means nothing serious.
Likely,it is non-specific musculoskeletal back pain.Don't panic. It will improve soon.
Meanwhile,continue the medications as discussed.
However, please get back to me if it does not improve or it worsens in coming days.
Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions,I shall be glad to answer else, please close the thread-rate it and write a review as your rating will be of help to me.
