What Causes Mild Pain In Thighs And Knees After Knee Replacement Surgery?

Also she has burning sensations in her feet.
Can be due to muscle strain.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
After a knee replacement mild pain in the thighs and knees can be due to muscle stress. Proper physiotherapy and regular exercise with calcium supplements can help in maintaining the strength of the muscles and thus will gradually help in decreasing the pain.
The burning sensation in the feet can be due to low levels of vitamin B12 or mild nerve root compression at the level of lumbar spine. Do get the serum levels evaluated and consult an orthopedician for proper evaluation. Proper supplements will help in decreasing the symptoms.
I hope this answers your query.

Usually after the knee replacement operation person becomes comfortable after few months, but she is not at all comfortable after 07 months also. Why her recovery is so slow. Can there be any precautions that she is lacking. How much should be her exercise and activity schedule. or any specific diet is required to make her muscles strong.
Do consult a physiotherapist for proper exercises.
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
She needs a calcium and protein rich diet. The exercise is started in a graded manner according to the strength of her muscles under an expert care of a physiotherapist.
