What Causes Miscarriage During Third Month Of Pregnancy?
Question: my wife had a miscaarige in her 3rd month pregnancy in may.that was supposed to be our first baby.post D&c ,all the tests related to wife are done like karyotype,sonography etc.doctor has asked me also to get semen analysis done.so i did and report is attached.please advice if my report is normal or not.thanks

1) Your semen analysis seems to be fine and there is no problem with it.
2) Your sperm is unlikely to have caused miscarriage.
3) It is common to have miscarriage in first trimester of pregnancy due to chromosomal abnormalities in the fetus.
4) I suggest you try for pregnancy again and this miscarriage need not repeat again.

By seeing my report and checking online,i was actually afraid if my motility and morphology part was not normal.what is the normal range anyways and how above i am from the margin.

Rapid and sluggish motility together should be 50 percent minimum. You have 65 percent which is good.
Minimum morphology should be 4 percent which is 70 percent in your Case.
