What Causes Missing Periods Even After Meprate Usage For PCOS?

Question: Hi I am 27 years old. I al suffering from PCOS and regularly have irregular periods which has even gone upto to 4 months. Whenever I am delayed in periods (like beyond 2 months) I take meprate. My period was due 22nd April 2014. I had unprotected sex on 21st April 2014. Though the chances were feeble still i was doubtful. As I didnt have my periods I went on and started meprate on 14th May for 5 days (2 tablets daily). Now its almost 7 days after the last dose still I have no periods. Yesterday I did my urine test twice but got negative pregnancy results. I have started rigorous exercise and I am also taking some fat burn pills (Lipo 6 fatburn for females). I have lost 2 kgs. Can you tell me what might be the reason and do i need to be orried for anything serious???

Dear Madam,
Thank you for posting your query on HCM.
Well looking into your problem I would like to tell you that since in PCOS irregular periods are common so the chances of irregular ovulation also goes up . Since even after taking meprate you didnt have periods it needs evaluation.
First get blood beta hcg levels to rule out pregnancy , next a USG TVS is suggested to look for any ectopic pregnancy . Other reason can be due to rigorous exercise and hormonal fluctuations also people tend to miss periods but that can be considered if above tests come normal .
Take care.
