What Causes Motion Sickness, Bilious Emesis And Dizziness With Flu Symptoms?

Question: I had a flu vaccine & flu symptoms for 8 days. Now I have motion sickness, bilious emesis. Can't turn over in bed without dizziness. I'm wondering about labrinthitis & if an OTC anti-nausea medication will help
Where is the answer to my question
Where is the answer to my question
Brief Answer:
OTC medicines can be tried
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
I am sorry that your answer had to wait. Occasionally the number of new questions is high with respect to the number of doctors who are online. This can inadvertently lead to some users getting held up as in your case.
Let me come back to your query. OTC anti-nausea medicines that could provide relief include meclizine, cyclizine, dimenhydrinate, and diphenhydramine. They can be tried.
However, bilious emesis primarily occurs when you are in empty stomach for long. I would suggest you to take some food 15-30 mins after having such a medicine.
Let me know if I could help further.
Regards
