What Causes Mottled Skin On Ankle?
Question: I noticed my ankles have a "mottled" look....what is that? My doctor said anything he might give me for it would be worse than having a mottled appearance.......

Read and reviewed your query facts.This indicates the Venous insufficiency with echymosis from subcutaneous blood leakage in the skin around the ankles.
This could happen from the chronic venus insufficiency and fragility of the venous walls .
The cardiac weakness to pump adequate blood also could be another cause.
Remedy-
Rest
Vaseline smearing with Lemon juice application and light massage x for 10 days would regress it to lighter coloration.
Elevation for fast regression
Thrombophobe ointment locally.
Tab Zincovit with Vit C- 1 x 15 days time.
Tab Dafflon-1 x 3 times a day for 15 days.
Tab oxerutin 1 x 3 times a day for 15 days.
Venous Stockings
Color doppler Scanning and Surgeons opinion,Who would plan right treatment for your mottled ankles accordingly.
With this it should regress in 10 days time
