Hi,
Thank you for the question. I could not find any specific question from you to answer.
I am sorry that you had difficulties for so many years. Yet the diagnosis was not made. This could be a difficult task for an online doctor who neither examined nor followed up the case to make any committed opinion. This kind of problems definitely need a multidisciplinary approach. I will try to help you with various specialties who need to be referred under the care of an Internal Medicine Physician (MD). The various specialists to be involved are Rheumatologist, Ophthalmologist, Neuropsychiatrist, Psychotherapist.
Let me know if you have any specific queries related to your condition mentioned here. I also would like you to upload any recent reports or scripts given by your present physician following you. An upload feature would be on the right side pane of your page.

I was prescribed predisone first it helped but general practice did not want to keep me on predisone. Then amitrypityline ,then tramadol magic mouth wash for mouth sores. Recently gabapentin for the nerve pain. My blood work comes back normal -I can have a mouth full of ulcers and visually swollen throat how can the blood work not show inflmation? No that's not my question I have a general practioner who thinks it might be behcets -I do not have the ethnicity so I know it is very rare . Maybe if you had one or two ideas of alternative diagnosis I could mention to my gp mouth sore ,uveitis, joint pain, muscle, tendon pain, weakness, cognitive difficulties, fatigue.tested negative for Lyme ,have no std's, sed rate normal 10 c-reactive normal Ana negative.
Brief Answer:
Autoimmune etiology is first
Detailed Answer:
At this time I would refer to a Rheumatologist. They would be more appropriate to comment or verify Behcet's. I would have the following things in mind:
SLE
Reiter's Syndrome
Malnourishment - Vitamin and Mineral def
Somatization disorder - Briquet's syndrome, conversion reaction
Drugs and Toxins also come to my mind. I would not be able to specify however. It is up to the GP / Internal Medicine doctor to verify.
Since I do not follow up with such cases after referral I may not be well versed with all the information.
Brief Answer:
