Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing.

I am Dr.Muhammad Ahmad. I have read your question completely, i understand your concern and will try to help you in best way possible.

You do need an ENT specialist checkup but till you can get appointment I will suggest you a few things which can help you get relief from symptoms.

There are a few things which can help bigtime.

1) Steam inhalation can help you big time I would suggest it twice daily for 4..5 minutes. This will help with the clogged up sinuses and airways and ear canals.
2) Take tablet Alegra-D it will help with body aches and fever if any plus help with congestion as well.
3) Do take some OTC antihistamin daily at night for example citerizine or loratidine 10mg this will help will allergy and congestion.
4) Get a good OTC mucolyter and use it, usually cough syrups have Mucolyter inredients which soften mucous.
5) Steamy bath does help too.
6) Hot drinks help protecting you from dry throat and irritation specially green tea is good for this.
7) Read how to do valsalva maneuver and do it regularly twice a day this will help you bigtime.

END NOTE: It is always recommended in this situation to get proper ENT checkup but till you get it you can follow my suggestions.

I hope this answered your question, a

Brief Answer:
This can happen after flu.

Detailed Answer:
Hello thanks for writing back,

Such problem is fairly common after cold there is a tube called eustachian tube which connects eat to throat..this keeps pressure of ear optimum and sounds stay well heard...it also drains ear so that there is no blockage in ear and no collection of secretion...

After flue this tube can get blocked which causes exactly same symptoms as you... the tips I gave you will help you to get this tube unblocked...specially valsalva is of big help...

I would suggest you to try the tips I have..

regards.

Dr.Ahmad.
