Brief Answer:
Oral rehydration salts

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I suggest going for Oral rehydration salts available at any drug store or supermarket instead of just water alone. Generally electrolyte imbalance cause muscle cramps.
REST the muscles as lactic acids accumulate in the muscles. Do not stretch them. More acids accumulate.
ICE is a good pain reducer
CALCIUM deficiency is also a cause, a good idea to supplement calcium for life.
