Question: I have been getting what feels like a muscle pull in the center to left side of my upper abdomen. It sometimes feel like it gets right then releases like a spasm. I am afraid it might be something wrong with my pancreas. I just had a lung ct scan. Would they be able to see that on the scan? Thank you.

Brief Answer:
it is not indicative for pancreas conditions.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Welcome to Healthcare Magic.

I read carefully your query.

The pain doesn't seem to be related to pancreas conditions .In pancreas conditions the pain might be severe or like a dull ache The pain is usually centered in the upper middle or upper left part of abdomen and usually the pain radiates in the back.
The pain would be worse after eating and other symptoms are present.

In your case ,it seems to be a muscular spasm.A detailed medical history, physical examination and abdominal ultrasound can exclude pancreas condition.
If this pain persists ,I would suggest to consult a physician and get examined to determine the cause ,but it doesn't seem to be related to pancreas.

It is not possible to the see the pancreas on CT scan of lungs .

Hope it helps.
Let me know if you need further help.

Kind regards,
