What Causes Muscle Spasm While Bending Over?
Question: Three days ago, while I was in the shower, I bent over to shave my legs and had the scariest feeling internally that an organ flipped upside down or went a somehow out of place as I became upright again, just beneath my ribs, slightly to the left (stomach?) I yelled for my husband thinking I might need to go to the hospital, I could still feel a sensation that something was out of place, but within a few seconds it flipped back. I had no other symptoms prior or since other than a mild soreness.
Brief Answer:
It's a muscle spasm.

Thanks for posting your query.
First of all let me tell you that organs inside our body are placed very securely so flipping up and down of organs is very unlikely.
What you might have experienced is a spasm of oesophagus or stomach which got relieved spontaneously . This can happen occasionally in many people. My advice to you is eat more of vegetables and fruits and drink plenty of water. Eat less of cheesy food and less of non veg food.
If you are still anxious you can get an Ultrasound Abdomen scan done to check for your organs.
Hope this information was useful to you.
Any clarifications feel free to ask .
