What Causes Muscle Spasms In Hands While On Steroids For Multiple Sclerosis?

Question: I have MS and recently had a flare did one week outpatient IV steroids and I have been experiencing muscle spasms in my hands and feet and legs can this be a latent reaction from the steriods ?
