What Causes Muscle Twitching In The Thigh?
Question: I have been having a tingling or muscle twitching on my left outer thigh for about 2 or 3 weeks now. Concerned about what could be causing and if it could be serious. No pain, just the twitching sensation.
Brief Answer:
Hello. This could be either a compressed nerve or an electrolyte imbalance
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
A compressed nerve root in your lower spine could cause this, but so could low calcium, low magnesium, or low potassium levels in your blood. Since it's been going on for so long, you should see a doctor for an exam, blood work, and an MRI scan of your lumbar spine if warranted.
Please let me know if you need any more information.

Doctor, thank you very much !
So it's probably not anything more serious, such as MS, or something like that, correct? When speaking with friends, they had me worried !
If it persists, I will see my doctor locally for tests.
