What Causes Musculoskeletal Chest Pain And Heart Arrhythmia?

Question: Hello, my name is XXXXXXX and I'm a 19 y/o collage student in Alaska, and I have pretty severe PE, higher than a 3.2 index. I was born with a murmur and I had the NUSS bar placed when I was 16 and removed one year in because it fell out of place and was very painful. Now I'm 19 and have been having skeletal and musculoskeletal chest pain, heart arryrithmia, back pain, anxiety, and trouble exercising. No one is taking me seriously, I've been to 4 doctors with my PE, saying its only cosmetic but it's definately causing some bad symptoms. I don't know what to do. I also want to know how it'll affect me later in life and my life expectancy because no one is giving me a solid answer.
Brief Answer:
Cardiac and pulmonary evaluation is mandatory in your case
Detailed Answer:
Hello Madam.
I can certainly understand your concern
I have worked through your question in detail.
Your symptoms are more likely related to PE.
It's very important to get a fresh ECG and 2D ECHOCARDIOGRAM with Doppler study to evaluate your symptoms further by assessment of your heart function.
Likewise, a CT scan of the chest can help to identify the severity of PE and help to assess it's impact on underlying lungs.
Further management if any, is largely based on these test results (let me know the results in details, if they're done recently).
Post your further queries if any.
Thank you.
