Help.
Needs an urgent neurosurgical evaluation
Detailed Answer:
Hi
I am Dr Mittal.
I have read your message.
The symptoms of the query are quite serious and you will need a urgent neurosurgeon opinion.
There is a plate called cribriform plate between the nose and brain. Leakage of blood from here is a serious problem.
It can lead to severe infections and you should get the opinion urgently.
I have assumed that you did not have a trauma.
I have tried to make it as simple as possible. I hope that the information contained in this message will be able to help you find the best solution for your problem. Best of luck. Dr Mittal.
Brief Answer:
Anxiety will not cause bleeding
Detailed Answer:
Hi
1st, anxiety will not cause bleeding.
2nd Headache with bleeding may mean a possible intracranial bleed possibly from arteriovenous malformations.
Yes , I would still consider going to a neurosurgeon.
Best of luck. Dr Mittal.
The headache has now gone.
Is it still serious?
I am also suffering from Illness Anxiety Disorder.
What do you think?
Could it be sinus?
when I pick my nose then the blood comes out with the dirt.
Dried blood.
The headache has also disappeared.
Also, dried blood has been coming out for around a week.
But headache has only occurred today when I woke up and then vanished within a half an hour.
I also have migraine and uric acid.
I am prescribed Shine 10mg and Zapiz 0.25mg because of my anxiety.
I am also feeling quite tired for a couple of days only in the morning.
What do you think?
Also I have had a CT scan 5 months back.
Nothing was found there.
