What Causes Nausea, Abdominal Cramps And Vaginal Spotting During Pregnancy?

Question: Hi,
Dr. XXXXXXX XXXXXXX , My own doctor agreed to see her for a one-time visit. He didn't even charge her any money. He did an ultrasound and said that she has a healthy baby due Dec. 5. There is still some confusion about the second sac and dead baby. No one is sure whether it was miscarried with all that bleeding or is still there hiding behind the other baby. A general practitioner will give her another ultrasound this week and hopefully tell us the gender of the baby. We still have to find an obstetrition who will agree to deliver the baby on Medicaid (gov't help). XXXXXXX continues to nauseous, even at this late date, and yesterday she had a cramp and spotted. Is this normal?
Thanks! Carole Spence

Brief Answer:
It could be a normal finding.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
Thanks for trusting me again about her health care.
As her ultrasound was done and her baby is fine there is no need to worry about it.
Sometimes nausea may continue throughout pregnancy due to hormonal changes.
Cramp and spotting one time could be a normal finding but if persist then she should consult her treating doctor for the same.
Hope found useful, feel free to ask more information.
Good luck.
Regards
