What Causes Nausea Along With Vomiting?
Antibiotics would be wise; not contagious in my opinion
Detailed Answer:
Hello ma'am and welcome.
Thank you for writing to us.
I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. Ma'am, after going through your query and your symptoms it does not seem like you have any infection at all.
The symptoms in my opinion could be caused by either of the following scenarios:
+A stomach infection (gastroenteritis) which caused the diarrhoea, low-grade fever, headaches and dizziness. The nausea can also be caused by the stomach infection itself
It is also noted that any infections or abnormalities in the female body can result in a hormonal imbalance, which can result in symptoms like nausea.
+The stomach infection can be the sole reason for all the symptoms as they can all be related to gastroenteritis.
The source of the infection can be either viral or bacterial. If I were your doctor I would call you in for a blood investigation, stool analysis and initiation of a course of the following medications:
+Antibiotics
+Antacids
+Anti-pyretics
You should discuss the same with your doctor ma'am. I do not think you have anything contagious ma'am, it just sounds like a simple stomach infection and should easily subside with treatment.
In the meantime, make sure you drink plenty of fluids and also an ORS (oral rehydration solution) to make sure we avoid dehydration. Your symptoms of headaches, dizziness and and nausea could have been caused by dehydration. If at all you have dry skin, or any other symptoms then dehydration is confirmed.
I hope you find my response both helpful and informative. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications, I would be more than happy to help.
Best wishes.
