What Causes Nausea And Dizziness Post Intake Of Amigaba And Maxmala?

My mother (Diabetic and has BP) is diagnosed with Sciatica and she was asked to take 'AMIGABA' & ‘NUHENZ’ tablets. After taking these tablets she had nausea and dizziness. When consulted the doctor again, it was told that dizziness/nausea is because of AMIGABA tablets and prescribed 'MAXMALA' tablet. But unfortunately, still she has the same problem of dizziness. What is the other option for this. Can you please suggest.
FYI - All tablets does not suit her. Always we had to get her alternate tables as she used to have dizziness/nausea.
Most muscle relaxants have such side effects.

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Amigaba and maxmala both has side effect of dizziness and drowsiness in some. Most of the muscle relaxants have such side effects. Taking this at bed time will be helpful to get relief from this. If this is not helping then changing to short term muscle relaxants like tizanidine will be helpful. After getting relief from the acute symptoms physiotherapy should be started and muscle relaxants can be stopped gradually.
If that is not helping then narcotic pain relievers like tramadol or Oxycodone can be taken. Have a follow up with your physician.
Let me know if anything not clear.
I am happy to help you.
Thanks.

physiotherapy can be started when acute pain subsides.
Detailed Answer:
Welcome again.
Thank you for your follow up query.
Physiotherapy can be started after acute pain subsides. Around 4 to 5 days will be enough to subside the acute pain. Aim of pain medication and muscle relaxant is to subside the acute pain episode by stopping pain spasm spasm pain vicious cycle. If you go on acute phase then you may not be able to do physiotherapy and it can worsen the pain also.
