What Causes Nausea And Lightheadedness With Normal BP?

default
Posted on Thu, 9 Oct 2014
Question: I feel lightheaded and somewhat nauseated, but blood pressure is normal. 116/82. Whenever I bend over I tend to lose my balance somewhat. Could this be vertigo? if so, what can I do?

Brief Answer:
Not a vertigo

Detailed Answer:
Hi Sir,

I have gone through your query; it doesnot seem to be vertigo.

For your kind information in vertigo there is a sense that you, or your environment, is moving or spinning, even though there is no movement.

But to reach the near diagnosis you may go for
1. Routine haematological investigations such as Hb%, Blood sugar
2. Renal function test and
3. Neurological examination.

Thanks
