What Causes Nausea, Chest Congestion, Dizziness And Weakness?

Question: My daughter is 17 and has been having bouts of nausea (she has not vomited but feels like it), dizziness, weakness and a heavy chest. We took her to her pediatrician and she didn't see anything obvious but thought it might be a sinus infection since my daughter was also complaining of nose pain. She also possibly had a drip in the back of her throat. She prescribed a z-pack but only if my daughter felt worse. My daughter hasn't taken the medicine yet, but will today since the symptoms are back. Over the weekend, she seemed fine.
With all of that said, she feels fine at times and then really nauseous at times with the other symptoms. this has been going on for about two weeks. I think she might be dehydrated. I just want to make sure there is nothing more serious going on. We have a follow-up appointment tomorrow.
Oh, forgot to mention that she is not pregnant. I have confirmed that.

Hi thanks for your question,

i understand your concern for your daughter,
i will try and help you in best possible way,

I will like to know some more history to help you in better way

Is she having flu like symptoms cough, cold ,fever, running nose??

Does she get nausia after having food?

does she have headache on front side??

Is she going through some stress like exams??

Does she have any alergy ??

From what symptoms you explained i think she might have upper respiratory tract infection pharyngities may be due to it she is feeling bit nausious due to irritation in throat,
And in teenage female iron deficiency anemia is also common if she gets diziness and feels weak more oftern it may also be a possibility,

awaiting your reply,
Regards.

no serious thing propably

Detailed Answer:
hi thanks for your reply,

does she have any abdominal pain??
Yellow colour urination,
yellow discoularation of eyes??

I have gone through your reply throughly it seems she doesnt have any major symptom along with nausia, just frontal headache - that's one of the symptom of sinus infection. So in my opinion, I think you need not worry. I feel she needs some medication like combination of pantaprazole and domperidome once a day,
And needs to udergo some test if the problem persist like - Complete blood count and Liver function test,

Go through your follow trearment and get medicine prescribed from your physician,

Your free to ask any further queries,
