What Causes Nausea, Clammy Skin, Swollen Lips And Sweet Smelling Body Odor?

Question: My wife has nausea, clammy skin, swelling of the lips and is smelling a sickening sweet odor. This came on 2 hours ago. I gave her 2 Benadryl when the lips swelled (1st symptom). She has eaten nothing out of the usual or had anything else new. She had a flu shot on Thursday and was complaining of a sore injection site. She is in good health. Her only medication is Venlafaxine, which she took this morning. She has had nausea and general ill at ease feeling before (2-3 times over 3 years) and slept it off. I'm most concerned about the smell she is experiencing. Thoughts?

Brief Answer:
Monitor the odor closely for now! Might be allergy related!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have reviewed your wife’s information fully. The symptoms are not typical of any immediate disease condition and we will need to obtain more details before proceeding. Because there is nothing of immediate threat to her life, continue with benadryl and monitor her odor only at this time. If anything new comes up, share the information with me and I will review for further guidance and suggestions/recommendations.

Keep me posted and feel free to ask of further information and clarifications.
