What Causes Nausea, Lightheadedness And Heartburn After A Sleepless Night?
Question: I am on 4 hours sleep and have heart burn, nausea and lightheadedness which has been going on for 4 hours
Brief Answer:
Take Pantoprazole!
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I am so sorry to hear about this heartburn. Because Tums haven't helped, I recommend pantoprazole 40mg daily for 10 days.
In addition, avoid fatty meals, smoking, eating late at night and also try using a pillow to avoid sleeping flat at night.
Coffee and leaning forward too soon after meals are really detrimental as well.
Should this fail to address your complaints, you will need to have an upper endoscopy for further evaluation and management.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Should I be worried about a heart attack or brain aneurysm?
Brief Answer:
NO!
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
This is certainly not a heart attack nor a brain aneurysm. Be calm, relaxed and try the above measures. They should help as this seems a classic case for gastritis/acid reflux disease.
Hope I have answered your query.
Take care
