What Causes Nausea, Mid Cycle Bleeding And Bloating Inspite Of Having Cervical Erosion?

detailed answer below.
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX and welcome,
I understand your issue.
Cervical erosion may be due to infection. In this case it does cause nausea, backache and trouble eating.
It also causes bleeding but it is just mostly spotting.
I am not sure if you are breast feeding or using contraceptive. Contraceptives also cause nausea and erosion.
For every woman coming to us with nausea we first rule out pregnancy. So please check if this has been ruled out.
Other causes of such symptoms may be pelvic inflammatory diseases, intestinal upset and hormonal issues.
As of now, I suggest that you get a pregnancy test done ( if not already ruled out) and let me know the breast feeding status. Also if they have sent any investigations for the cervical erosion ( to test for infection like HPV, chlamydia, gonococci etc).
With this I would be able to help you better.
Do not worry, erosions are very common and can be treated easily.
Hope this satisfies your query.
Thanks for using HCM.

Hi XXXXXXX and welcome back.
The breast feeding and vasectomy both rule out pregnancy. I am sure that you must have been counselled that there is a need to use contraception until 3 months after vasectomy till the stored sperms in the seminal vesicles get exhausted.
About hormones, they may cause nausea and lethargy and indigestion especially low thyroid hormones but backache is not common with them. Backache may be more due to pelvic infections or adhesions, low calcium and orthopedic causes like spine and disc or nerve problems.
Muscle weakness ( very common after pregnancy due to excess stretch and relaxant effects of hormones also causes backache ). A protruding tummy after pregnancy also stretches the muscles and leads to backache. A lumbar support belt helps in such cases along with exercises to build up the muscles.
When you return back for the results of your pap smear discuss all these with your doctor and also get examined if there is too much bending and strain on the spine as a result of pregnancy. In this case a relaxing massage followed by exercise helps relieve the pain. Local pain killer ointments may also be used.
Treatment of infection also helps to decrease the pain.
Try to modify your diet for a few days and eat simple food low in oil, fat, cheese and proteins ( may take boiled egg whites if you like). Clear soups, rice and yogurt and B complex vitamins are very helpful to help clear gastric indigestion issues. A light exercise in the form of a daily walk are also useful. They also help tone the hormones.
So as of now, try the above measures and just wait for the pap results and then decide.
Hope this helps.
