What Causes Night Sweats When Suffering From Hypothyroidism?
![default](/r/images/default.png)
Question: Is it possible to be hypothyroid but have some hyper symptoms?
I have positive antibodies, normal t3,t4,tsh levels ( which I think declined in the last week) but I have been having night sweats for several months.
Can it be because of the antibodies?
Thanks

Hi,
Thanks for consulting HealthcareMagic!
Yes, it is possible to be hypothyroid but have some hyperthyroid symptoms for a short period of time. It depends on the kind of problem that is causing your hypothyroidism- like Hashimoto's thyroididtis, subacute thyroididtis etc. However, you need to get excluding for other conditions which may cause night sweats.
Can it be because of the antibodies?
No, it may not be directly because of the antibodies.
