What Causes No Bleeding After Taking Abortion Pills?
Question: Hii
My girlfriend is about 12days pregnant. She took 1st tablet of mifepriston on 12th XXXXXXX around 8pm, then 2tablets of misoproston on 13th XXXXXXX 8pm and the next 2 tablets today morning around 10am. (She simply swallowed the tablets, like any other medicines) She yet not started bleeding. From today morning There are some tiny blood clots and brownish watery liquid but no bleeding. She's just feeling a little cramp sometime a day.
Is it safe to take another set of abortion pills ????
Or what to do next ??? Please help.. she's not willing to visit a doctor.

Pills for abortion should not be used without doctor's consultation and ultrasound,
because of risks like possible ectopic pregnancy.
Sometimes after completing the dose of pills, it may take around 24 to 36 hours for the onset of bleeding.
Brownish discharge can gradually turn into blood.
So, better to wait for few more hours.
Don't repeat the dose.
If the process of abortion do not get complete after 48 hours of completing the dosage of tablets or if she develops symptoms like severe pain or excessive bleeding etc, consult gynecologist.
