I understand your problem. It would help to know why primolute N was taken. Was it that you had irregular period and wanted to have a period or did you miss a period and took it as an abortificient? The withdrawl bleed will come only if you are not pregnant. It comes in the next 7 days after stopping primolute. So there were 3 more days. However if you have has unprotected sex during this time, an emergency contraceptive must be used as if the period is irregular and you did not have periods yet, a minute chance of pregnancy remains. If you use an emergency contraceptive now [ assuming that you were not pregnant before this] the period will become more irregular and will be unpredictable. So you will have to wait till it comes and use another backup contraceptive method in the meantime. Kindly provide information about the reason for use of primolute, contraception if any used before primolute and date of last menstrual period for a better consultation. Hope this was helpful. Brief Answer: detailed answer provided below. Detailed Answer: I understand the issue now. Please note that all the drugs you are taking are hormones called progestogens. They must be taken carefully under medical supervision and emergency contraceptive is a high dose progestogen. It cannot be used in this fashion with primolute in the same cycle. It is barely 30 march today and you have already completed primolute and 3 days beyond that. It means that you began primolute around 22-23 march around 10 days after your period. At this time most likely it may not work. A better solution would have been to postpone your period by taking primolute later. Anyways things cannot be undone now so we must look for another solution. You had unprotected sex on 28th that is day 16-17 of the cycle, and also primolute in between. So it is in the fertile phase. To prevent pregnancy now, a more sensible solution would be oral contraceptive pills containg 100 mcg ethinyl estradiol [ usually 4 pills each containing 30 mcg of ethinyl estradiol] as soon as possible and followed 12 hours later by a repeat dose. They are associated with a lot of nausea and vomiting. An emergency contraceptive may also work. In both cases now the period will be unpredictable. Most likely come in the next 7 days so the idea of avoiding period in first week will not work. Another option would be to wait for 3-4 days more to see if primolute was able to induce a period. In this case a small risk of pregnancy would be there as the E pill will not be used. But if you get periods, it means that you are safe and there is no pregnancy. Having said all this the chances of pregnancy by a single act of intercourse are not high. But in the fertile period though, they range from 30-70 percent. So decide about the plan that would suit you the best. Do not worry. Take any of the pills. The only issue would be timing of your periods. I am always here to help you.
