What Causes Nocturia And Excessive Thirst In Adults?

Question: Hi I am a 48 year old women who exercises 6 days a week spinning body pump , walking I am slightly over weight but not much , for the last week and a half I have been urinating very often even waking in the night 2-3 times to go my mouth is constantly dry and I'm thirsty all the time feel quite hungry aswell , I'm ok in the mornings once I'm up but by the time I've been to the gym and its early afternoon I am so tired I know these could be the symptoms of diabetes but type 1 or 2 I'm being tested tomorrow morning and am quite worried could it be something else completely

Based on the symptoms like Polyuria ,feeling of thirst and nocturia at the age of 48 years are mostly due to type 2 Diabetes.

You need to consult qualified General Physician and get your blood sugar levels tests on empty stomach and 2 hours after lunch and urine test done to confirm the diagnosis .

Further treatment and dietary instruction will be advised by him depending upon the blood sugar levels.
