If no cause is ascertained locally then blood counts including platelets and coagulation profile need to be looked for any abnormality. Try to keep the area clean and dry. Treatment options would be clear once the cause of the dried blood is clear. If its just erosions then lubricants with antibiotic ointments such as polyfax can be advised.
