1. Doctor can I not check without an endocopy. I am dead scared of those things. Are there not other things I can check and do an endoscopy last. Could it be H Pyroli etc. Can I do blood tests, stool tests etc.
2. You asked to take a fasting blood glucose test. What is that for?
3. One symptom I forgot to mention and that is dryness in the mouth. I am drinking too much water since this started
Also its been about 2 weeks since I started this medication. Is it supposed to work by then or do I wait longer

Brief Answer:
Wait for 4 weeks
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
In case you are reluctant to do an endoscopy,
I would suggest continuing the current medications for 4 weeks. In case the symptoms persist you could undergo either a breath test or stool antigen test for H pylori. Gastric problem, anxiety or dehydration or altered blood sugar levels may also cause dryness of mouth.
A fasting blood glucose test is to check for diabetes as sometimes diabetes can present with symptoms of hunger pains
Hope this helps
