What Causes Numbness And Spasms In Arms?
Unlikely to be associated with a cardiac cause, list of possibilities given
Detailed Answer:
Hello ma'am and welcome.
Thank you for writing to us.
I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. Although the presentation is associated with your left arm, I do not see this to be likely to be associated with a cardiac cause. The more likely causes in my opinion could be any of the following:
+Low potassium levels
+Low sodium levels
+Temperature related (mostly heat)
+Kidney associated abnormalities
+Complications of diabetes
+Peripheral neuropathy
+Hypoparathyroidism
+Nutritional deficiency (e.g. vitamin B12)
+Gluten intolerance (if you have been diagnosed with it)
and a few others.
I would recommend a visit to your doctor, because none of the above listed causes are serious and can all be easily treated. But ruling out a cardiac cause is also protocol with a presentation like yours, but I do not see a cardiac cause to be likely so I think you should not really be getting worried or anxious.
Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications, I am always here to help
Best wishes.
